Fight the Good Fight

6:10-18
1. Fight the good fight, brethren. Be strong in the Lord.
Put on the Lord's whole armor and fight against the foe.
We struggle not with flesh and blood, but with the evil realm.
So take up all your weapons and stand firm to the end.
2. Fight the good fight, brethren. do all you can to stand.
The weapons of our warfare are from God's mighty hand.
So take the belt of truth buckled all around your waist.
And righteousness your breast plate fixed firmly in its place.
3. Fight the good fight brethren. Do all you can to stand.
And on that day of trumpets our Lord you will meet.
So take the gospel of peace to all, stand firmly on your feet,
And with salvation your helmet the foe you will defeat!
4. Fight the good fight, brethren. You soldiers of the word.
So take the sword of the spirit, the very word of God.
Be sure to take the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts,
And pray all prayers at all times, spoken from within your hearts.
5. Win the war then brethren. Be strong in the Lord.
Put on the Lord's whole armor and fight against the foe.
